Military

I was over at our friends' house tonight, and he works for the army. He mentioned that there are really good paying civilian jobs at the local army base, Fort Carson. We checked out some jobs together during half-time, and they pay approximately twice what I was making at Starbucks. I will be going to apply in person tomorrow, and see what happens, but if this were to work out, it would be GREAT job security and GREAT money! This might be the answer to our prayers!

Please be praying for a graphics job or something I do well to open up.

Peace!

I would hold a civilian rank of GS something or other. The higher, the better paid. The positions I've been researching are GS7 which is around $35k-$40 per year with like 30 days of vacation, health insurance and more. It sounds like a great job. Not that far away either. About 30 minutes... If I could get something there, it would be a foot in the door, and maybe the way to get a great graphics job on base. Pretty gsxowkvb!

well i read this and the first thing to pop into my head is the song "army" by ben foldsjust because of my love of his music and my ability to relate way to many things to his music.... wow left my main point

i was trying to say that i think about that song but from what i've read it isn't the same army as the one within the song (unless you plan to drop out join a band.... grow a mustace and a mullet)

it sounds like a wonderful opportunity for you and wish best of luck to you

give 'em mufybtl

Well, since I can't grow a mustache, and I won't grow a mullet, you really don't have to worry about that.

I'll let you know how my trip down to Ft. Carson goes.
I hope it's tjlevwdc.

oh, my bro. I really pray that is not the job for you. Just because you are American, and I am Japanese... I know your situation and I really pray that you can get a good paying job.

Erina, I wouldn't be joining the army. I would be a regular american working for the army. It would be desktop publishing work or something like it. I wouldn't have to wear a uniform, or leave Colorado Springs or anything. It'll be zmufe.

Thanks for looking out for me, though.
I miss my japanese sister.
